A practical lesson I learned from this video is that you can still work and study and get a good job in this life but, you have to make time for Allah. Still pray and read Quran so your life in the hereafter is also good in Jannah not Jahanam.

A practical lesson you can learn from this ayah is that your life does not have to be in a closed house, trapped in 4 walls after you come back from work or school. Allah did not put us in this dunya so we can just work and waork all the time, but He also wants us to have fun in this dunya.

There are many lessons learned from that inspiring video. One lesson is to always have the right intention. Allah doesent want you to suffer in this world. You can do lots of leisurley things as long as it has the right intention and is for the sake of Allah. Nouman Ali Khan also talks about how people look at women like apes and so on. That means that we need Hayya' in this life. We need to lower our gaze and be modest. Another lesson i learned is that we need to acknowledge Allahs name Al Ghani. He needs nothing from us but we need everything from him. If we do these small but important acts, Inshallah He will make us Ghani as well. And finally, live in this life as a stanger. Dont focus everything for the pleasure in this dunya because there are better things waiting for u in the Akhira. This was a very beautiful video and many practical lessons can be derived from it.

I think we should see that, just like he said, to see as if Allah SWT wants to hurt us. He wants us to succeed.

A practical lesson I can derive from the video is that i have to balance my life. There are the mandatory things: jobs, school, etc and then there is free time. I want to fill my free time with actions that will bring me closer to Allah SWT. Not only that, taking opportunities at school to increase me in Iman. Rama, I think you have made an awesome contribution towards this conversation. I have to 100% agree with your comment about balancing between too much desire in this world and nothing at all. As stated by Ms.Tasnim that this world can be a prison for Muslims compared to the Akhira, yet this does not mean that this world has to be horrible for us. It just means that whatever we have in this world is nothing compared to the Akhira, and that we recognize that whatever we have in this world will not come to the Akhria with us. And also realizing that we would let every materialistic object in this world go in return for what is in Jannah.

WOW! this video inspired me to take care of every minute of my life and to not hate or love this world. We should always spend all of our time for Allah's sake for it isn't always hard actually it is usually easy. When we die then there is no going back and even though we have heard this so many times we still do not grasp it's true meaning. Do you not realize that once we breathe our last we cannot change or ask for forgiveness and if we are destined to hell fire then there is no second life. We should try to live our life perfectly like the prophet. Inshallah each of our breaths is for Allah. My teacher told me the other day that there are 352 joints/bones in our body and that we should be doing something for Allah with each of them everyday.
Adnan

I learned that you should use your time wizely, but is still ok to do things outside of it. Everything should be balanced. This means that you should not spend 24/7 praying, because we have other duties in life to other people and to Allah, other than praying. The dunya shouldn't be loved to an extreme or hated. Allah only put us here as a test to see if we are going to worship him. There is a hadith by the Prophet of Allah (SWS)

Masha'allah, that was a very powerful video. (I was actually going to say wow, but then I thought, why don't I say something better?)
The video spoke about how every small thing counts. And you should also start small, then go big. All of the famous celebrities start small, then go big. We should do the same in our worship.
One practical lesson is to use my time doing good. It doesn't even have to be my free time.
Technically, I'm occupied when I drive a car (not that I do drive a car), but I can listen to Quran during that time. I don't have to listen to news. I don't have to waste my time doing okay stuff. I should use my time doing good stuff, whether occupied or not.
Some people listen to music while they work, saying it's soothing, but why don't they just listen to Quran instead.
I think if we zoom into different parts of our day, we can find times where we can squeeze in some good acts.

One practical lesson I learned from this video is that we don't have much time in this world and as you get older you have less and less and that is why we should use our time wisely.Using your time wisely, meaning, pray, make dua, do dhiker, etc..towards Allah (SWT) a lot more often. Also during our free time we shouldn't watch TV or play video games we should try to do as many good deeds as we can. Allah (SWT) is giving us a chance in this world to earn good deeds so we may proceed to the next world and enter Jannah insh'alaah. Another thing is that before we try to earn any good deeds we should get rid of our bad deeds first.

What I am going to start applying is making my free-time useful. When I come home and I finished my homework, I usually just sit on the couch with my iPod. From now-on I am going to try to memorize more Quran and Hadith in that time instead of doing useless things. This will benefit me in the hereafter but its not overly detaching myself from the world. There is a balance between both the world and hereafter but everyday we are doing a small act of worship which Allah likes. There is a Hadith that says that Allah likes smaller consistent good deeds, rather than bigger good deeds that you don't do on a regular basis.

One practical lesson that can be derived from this touching and beautiful video is that if the only thing you do is commit sins there is no point for you to live. For instance, Allah put us on this earth to worship him, respect your parents and others, do good deeds. Also the only reason Allah is telling you to resepect and do good deeds is because He cares about you. He doesn't want you to end up in Hell fire. Allah (SWT) tells you to do good deeds because good deeds is you medicine when you are sick (When you do bad deeds)! So listen to Allah so you He could be very happy with you and to end up in the highest level of Jannah.

For myself, I guess I would have to say the lesson that stuck out most to me, and many others on here as well as it seems it is a popular lesson is time. I think it stuck out to me most because time slips through our fingers like sand; its quicker then we can fathom. Sometimes I think that I want time to go by faster, but then I realize just how fast time and life itself is going, and at that point I just want to scream at the top of my lungs for time to pause and take a break. I feel like I want to run away from time as though it is a fire breathing dragon chasing after me and trying to swallow me up whole. It's scary because I think that we forget more than we would like about how fast we can lose ourselves in time. Yet, then I reflect on my time and think what was it that I was doing with all that time? It feels like I have spent HOURS doing absolutely nothing (or nothing useful) and think about what a waste it was.
And for me remembering time is a GREAT thing, but it is also one of the most TERRIFYING things to think about, and that's because of all the emotions that tend to come with it. So to further answer the question I think that I will think about the now and do as much as I can to get closer to Allah (swt) as if each day, each hour, each minute, each second is my last. I also know that we have grown up with our mentors and close ones telling us to do this very thing constantly, yet I don't think that it has ever hit me as hard as it has being to me lately. I think that I will also reflect on what I am doing with my time while I am using it, while also reflecting afterwards, instead of just afterwards. And that is the practical lesson that has stuck out to me most.

In this video a practical lesson that should be learned is that Allah didn't put us on the earth to be miserable. I think He put us here to prove to our selves that if we work hard enough we will succeed in going to Jannah. In this we shouldn't listen to music instead of Quran, or watch TV instead of praying. We should do what is right and do what Allah (SWT) told us to do. But, this does not mean we seclude ourselves from the world. It just means that instead of reading a useless magazine or childish book, you should read Quran and same with Prayer. As a result I myself will work on entering Jannah and making a use of myself in this world, if it means helping others or even animals.
It was also taken from the video that we shouldn't waste the time we have on this world, because as it was said we don't have that much time and most of it is spent sleeping, working, etc. As children or teens we have extra time after school and homework but, it doesn't mean we use it wisely. We as kids probably use our free time watching TV,playing video games, or just doing nothing at all. But, by doing this we get nothing in return but being exhausted and cranky. And I admit I do play video games and watch TV. But we should be using this nice time to read Quran and Pray. In the end this all comes back to help you, if you have a good intention. To conclude, I from now on will be using my time very wisely, and doing something productive.
Thank you! :)

What i learned from thsi is that even though fun and worship, seem like two opposite things, one can make time to do both. Allah swt did not put us on the earth to just party and have a good time, neither did He put us here to be miserable. One can learn to balance these things. There are two extremes, one worshipping ALL day and not doing ANYTHING else. Another is not giving a single care about worship and living your life yolo mode. I lerned from this that we can learn to do both, be happy and content, while working our way to jennah through ibadah. We as humans think we know that time is slipping, but most of us dont realize it or apply measures to not waste time. We dont realize that this really ISNT our real home. Our real home is either jennah or...hell. Its OUR choice to decide where we want to end up. If we want to go to jennah, we have to prove it through our actions. Personally, I think its a mercy of Allah to give us alllll this life to try and try again to make the right choices, These choices, good or bad, will decide where we eill end up in our REAL life. Allah has given us a lifetime of chances. A lesson that I want to apply is to utilize this time, and treasure it. But this doesnt mean that we cant have fun or be happy. What we dont realize is that some of the happiest people are the ones closest to Allah. We can use our time productively to have fun, while also working ourselves up to jennah. Time is slipping fast, though we may not know it. Its our chance to claim a ticket either to jennah or hell. Remember, its not yolo, its yolt. You only live TWICE.

From this video, I learned that Allah (SWT) didn't put us on this Earth to be miserable. We should enjoy every minute of life and make use of the whole time, our life here is very short. Sure, we can have fun, we can do things that other people do (that's Halal obviously), but our intention should have a different angle to it. If we just twist our intention a little, we can get good deeds from having fun!
If we don't have anything to do or we're just bored, we should take that free time and make it useful. Maybe we can learn more about Islam, read Quran, do Dhikr or help someone. We shouldn't always think about having fun, but we should have a balance between this life and the Hereafter. Sometimes, we just need to take time out of our day to do things that will help us later in life.
One practical lesson I will start applying in my life is using my time more wisely, and if I don't have anything to do, I want to do better things than just sitting around doing nothing or doing useless things.

The thing that really stood out to me in the video is that Allah (SWT) doesn't want us to suffer in this life, He just wants us to have a life but pay attention to religion and what is halal and what is haram. This life can be good and satisfactory if we recognize that Allah SWT has provided for us so many opportunities to easily balance our lives between deen and dunyaa. We shouldn't become monks and only worship, but then again we shouldn't live our lives in complete leisure and forget our religion totally. There is that special zone when in this life, we live comfortably and still are prepared for the Akhirah; because Subhan Allah, Islam is not just a set of rules, it is a way of being, balanced living, and action.

I learned from this video that one should always use every minute of their life so one can be prepared for the Akhira. A person should always be doing something useful in life like reading quran instead of doing nothing or praying instead of playing video games and just doing useless things. A person will never know when they will die so a person needs to do useful things in life so they can go to Jannah later on. Many people say YOLO meaning you only live once. Actually, you live forever because after the first life which is now, their destiny is either Jannah or Hell Fire which a place no person wants to enter. if a person did bad in this life and while they're dying, they don't want to leave this world because they know what they're destiny is immediately. If a person did good in this life and did the right obligatory acts that they were supposed to do, while they're dying, they will be so happy to leave this world and meet Allah (SWT) and go to Jannah. These are the believers. We should be ready in this life because you never know when you're going to die maybe at a time you didn't expect. This life is only a test so is it worth doing bad things and going to Hell Fire or doing good and go to Jannah? I learned that one should always do good so they can be prepared for the Akhira and inshallah enter Jannah.

The video stressed the fact that Islam isn't about distancing yourself and placing a barrier between yourself and the outside world. Rather, Islam is about making the best of your life, and all the extra time you have should be done in the name of Allah. So, for example, eating can be done with the intention of energizing yourself for Allah. Intention is a frame that can fit any picture.

A practical lesson that I have learned from this video, is how we should be productive. In our free time after we finish homework, instead of calling your friends or watching TV we can listen to Quran. I want to strive to just be productive in your free time, if you are talking to your friends, just say that instead of talking about what we bought at the mall, or who won the game, we can discuss things that benefit our lives. We can just aim our intentions to do good and please Allah (SWT) at the same time. When your waiting in line, do dhikr, or sitting watching TV, instead read Quran. I want to do small frequent things that we can do during my free time to be more productive and use my time beneficially.

That was a really amazing video. Something that stood out to me while watching the video is that you don't have to do big things to go to Jannah, small things like listening to Quran can be as heavy as the big thing that you did, on the scale. Now I realize that we should be able to set a small amount of time in our day to be able to make use of properly because on a day to day basis we basically are wasting time and that small amount of time you set aside can be the one time where you are actually playing the role you were made to play.

MAKE THE MOST OF LIFE!!!
That is the most important thing I learned from this video. Islam and life are inseparable, and to be successful, one has to apply one into the other. We shouldn't take praying or making dua as a separate thing, but as a routine in daily life. Also, worry about your bad deeds before worrying about your good deeds. I mean theirs no point in doing good deeds, when all that is being canceled because of your bad deeds. One practical lesson I learned from this video, is to apply Islam to daily life, and worry about my bad deeds before worrying abt my good deeds

This video actually made a good point. The reason that most people go astray is because they can't find this sense of balance that they need between the Deen and the Dunya. From now on, I want to stop looking at my prayers as things we are supposed to do and looking at them like things that I want to do. I need to realize that Allah didn't make this Earth for us to block out of our lives just so we can focus on everything Islamic. Then we could be leaving some important things behind. We as Muslims need to be heard, and we need try to spread Islam and show people that we aren't as harsh as most people think we are. Overall, we need to incorporate a sense of balance in our lives.

I think that the video was talking about how we must use our time wisely and instead of wasting it, worship Allah. If you waste time, there's no way of going back and regaining it because Allah created time to move forward, not backward. This life is based on balance. Allah (SWT) says in Surat Al-Rahman: وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ (٧) أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِى ٱلۡمِيزَانِ (٨)
"And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance,"
"That you not transgress within the balance."

This video taught me that we shouldn't waste our free time after work or school doing something like watching t.v or or texting you friends rather we should read quran or try to learn something useful. It is easy to do something fun but useful so it should be something we all can apply in daily life.

i learned from this video is that we don't have to spend our whole life just focusing on our lifelong goal, there more to life then that and also we only find ourselves with a little bit of free time and we should make the most of it. instead of wasting our time and doing something not use full.

The duniah is a reflection of you for the hereafter. Because what you do in this world either if its good or bad it will always be written in your book of deeds and that book of deeds will reflect if you should go to Jannah or Al-Nar.+
