If I were to leave a legacy behind,I would leave a dairy which I wrote. Other people don,t have to read, if only my family would read it that would be enough.
I like this because you wrote an auto biography, and it's nice that you would be happy enough if just your family read it.
I also think that is nice, but I would want the world to read it so can spread knowledge to as many people as possible.
If I were to leave a legacy behind then I would write things down that I find important and helpful in life. For example, I would say that charity is important because of so and so reasons.
Great legacy to leave behind, Hanan! I like it!
This is also something i would leave behind! It can help many people.
I would also like to leave behind such exemplary character that people will remember me by.I want people to appreciate me just the way I am and I want to be firm in faith so that I may be loyal to Allah in highskool and so on
If I we're to leave a legacy behind, I would leave a life story of me summarized of both bad and good things that happened to me. It could also have the duas or wishes I want my family to make for me.
I have to say the legacy you would like to leave behind is a really nice one and something I personally wouldn't have thought of. Although it makes me start to rethink mine and make sure that what I want to leave behind is one that I would, really, like to leave behind. Thank you, for sharing your legacy with all of us! :)
A legacy that I went to leave behind is knowledge for the world to read.
I agree because that way everyone can benefit
come on Ibby you can write something better good idea of a legacy but elaborate on it. I know you could do better OK? OK.
Good idea, Ibrahim but u could elaborate more on what is the knowledge that u r going to pass down and Yazen: I don't think Ibrahim will reply right now
My legacy: To live life tot he fullest, to live for Allah, and to promote the good and forbid the evil for the wellbeing of all muslims.
*to the* not "tot he"
That is a good legacy to leave behind because not only will others begin to live life to the fullist for Allah, but you gain good deeds by teaching others to do this
If I had to leave a legacy behind it would be, a journal of my life and things I wanted to accomplish. I would also leave behind a good message of Islam, so more people would learn about it.
That is a good legacy Sanaa, because you are teaching others about your experiences to help them through their problems, and you are also spreading the ultimate message of Islam, just through one legacy.
Yeah this is a good legacy! I would also leave behind a legacy by writing a diary in which I wrote all the bad things I did in life and I would explain why it was a wrong choice to do the action.
If I were to leave a legacy behind I would probably leave a couple of things such as....... my money for my family to use and give to the poor. My most treasured things for people to remember me by. My knowledge of the Prophet Muhammad (S), Allah (SWT), the other Prophets, and the Sahabh. A note saying to never stop praying, making du'a, or fulfilling Allah (SWT)'s wishes just because I died!
That is a good legacy to leave behind because it teaches people to move on with their lives and not to mourn over the dead their whole life.(you should a bit).
If I were to leave a legacy behind it would be a notebook of what I see and how I live as a Muslim and would let any body to see it and people would change their mind of Muslim.
A legacy I would leave behind is to always follow the sunnah of teh Prophet (SAW) and to let people that they shouldnt do inovations and hope they will listen to me.
A lagacy that I would leave behind is my knowledge, because that is one of the most useful things you can have in life. Most people are known for their knowledge, discoveries, and inventions, like Thomas Edison, and his invention of the lightbulb. That is how I would like to leave an impression in this world, while also benefitting others through my acts.
Sorry, I meant "legacy" not "lagacy"
We did this in class so my legacy would be , to leave behind memories of truth, trust and faith so that I may inspire those around me and those after me. To please Allah and inshallah go to jannah
A legacy that I would leave behind is a list of lessons I have learnt. That way everyone would be able to benefit.
I Agrree!!! And sometimes, we learn the best lessons from our mistakes
Yah but how would you apply it in your life?
A legacy I would like to leave behind is my knowledge because if others read it, they can benefit too.
A legacy that i would want to leave behind is my chracter because ive been Through alot so far in this year and what i learned is patience is the key too success, if someone is criticizing you, its better to refrian your tounge before its used against u, thats exactly what i tried my best to do and i was patient with that person
I agree, sometimes even the smallest actions make a difference. Also others usually remember a person by how they act, if they were respectful or not. Small things like this can go a far way.
I agree with both Layla and Safa. Your actions always have a powerful impact.
I want to leave a legacy that reminds people to always do their best. To leave a legacy that shows truth, faith, and steadfastness. Also to leave a legacy that will inspire people to work hard to achieve their goals.
I want to leave a legacy that people will always remember such as making people want to pray and praise Allah (SWT) more. Many people don't even pray the 5 fard salah so i want people to pray whenever they remember the legacy i left.
This legacy is good because you are not only thinking about yourself, but you are concerned for other people
mashallah! I agree
A legacy I would want to leave behind is my smiles and my kindness towards others. I want people to remember my good character and follow it.
If I get to leave a legacy behind then I would write a journal with some mistakes I made in life, and some achievements I had. This might help people to learn from my mistakes, and not to make the same mistake again. I would also right about the Muslims of today, so that people could compare it to the Muslims of after.
Very good job Arham!!! U are awesome.
Sorry for that irrelevant (but nice) comment Ms.Tasnim
A legacy that I would leave behind is one that people would talk in awe an amazement about, like Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) legacy, I would write about all my life's, accomplishments, and some of my mistakes and lessons that can be taught from them. I would write about all my ideas and dreams in hope that they would become a reality through other people like the dreams the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) about having a good ummah.
That is really true. We should try and set a good example for others that way when others follow us, then they would remember this action after our passing. When we die we want others to talk good about us not bad.
if i were to leave a legacy behind i would do something so great that i would write a story about myself.
A Legacy I would leave behind would probably be a book in which others can benifit with. A book on Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (S) or a book of advice from my expieriences so that others don't have to make a mistake and learn from it, they can simply look in the book.
I want to leave a legacy of knowledge of something in this world that I might be remembered by. this will keep me alive in everyone's mind
Legacy is something of intangibility, it is something that is so critical, so significant. When leaving behind a legacy it is so crucial that you leave on that you would have loved to have been left behind for you. Something that you would have been able to benefit from yourself. Actually, there is three ways that you could continue to receive good deeds in the grave, and one of them is leaving behind knowledge for others to use. That is why inshallah I hope to leave behind a legacy full of knowledge that would continue to be passed on from generation to generation.
And well said Amani!
i would leave behind actions that i did because people normally follow our actions, not your words
If I were to leave a legacy behind I would leave something full of knowledge and wisdom, something that gets people thinking about their life, something that guides others to make the right decisions. It would be something that makes the person proud of their religion (Islam), proud to be a Muslim, and proud to give da'wa.
A legacy that I would love to leave behind is happiness and joy. I want to leave a peaceful world where everyone is happy and has nothing to worry about in their lives. And to make this possible I want to display a positive attitude and make others days better. So many others in this world are being oppressed and are not having such good days as us. So I want to try being as happy and joyful as possible so that way I can show that I thankful for the life I have.
If i were to die, the legacy i would want to leave behind is someone who is there to always help others. Legacy is intangible but can be powerful to the point where is seems tangible. I want to be known as an honest person who stayed true to herself and kept the akhirah in mind at all times. Simliarly, I want to be someone who strives to become better and lead as an exemplar to others.
If we refer back to Benjamin Franklin's quote, notice that he said "DO something worth WRITNG."
So I understand that you have to do something that would seem important for people, otherwise they wouldn't pay attention to your existence. I mean, really, they might be busy, or have better things to do than read about someone who didn't help society in ANY way.
But if had a legacy, I would want to be a memory that generations cherish in their minds, or leave behind a diary kept in a museum. Many famous people left behind diaries from which people were able to learn new facts about the person.
I think this is good topic because most people, if not everybody, probably think about becoming famous at one point in their lives. Some get over with it, some stay obsessed with it until the die and never really achieve anything, and some achieve that goal through hard work.
If I was known for something, it would be:
-the first person to land on Mars
-for inventing something used ubiquitously, like the light bulb by Thomas Edison or kites and electricity by Benjamin Franklin
-for becoming first female president (you could get seriously famous for that!)
-for writing a book read everywhere
But even if I did any of those things, the main reason I would want to do any of those things is so that I could be known as a MUSLIM that HELPED SOCIETY.
I guess I'm still working on these things... : )
WOW someone put ihsan in their work!!!
My legacy is not to live this life for pleasure but to live it for Allah (SWT). My goal is to please Allah (SWT) and inspire others to do good. What we do in this world is a test.
Live life to the fullest while pleasing Allah (SWT). Always remember Allah (SWT) and what he blessed us with. We must balance fun and worship
Before i die, i want to leave a legacy that people will remember forever. Before i die i want to make a differnce in somebodys life. I either want to inspire someone or make someones life better. I feel that if you havent inspired or changed somebody then theres no purpose.i would also want to leave behind a journal or something that will have advise for people.
I would want to leave behind a legacy that shows people that sometimes mistakes are he best way to learn. Even as a youthful person, I have made shameful, countless mistakes. I want people to remember that Allah (swt) will always forgive you, and reward you as you try to stop your mistake. I learned this from a very experienced person... Myself. It feels good that you can always count on Allah and He will always listen. That's the beautiful part of Islam. I also hope people find the truth before its too late, I hope they find Islam...
I would put this in some type of journal
I would want to leave a legacy that advocates justice, equality, and any other positivity around the world that defines me as a pious muslim!
If I were to leave a legacy behind I would leave a saadaqah jarriyah because it is an ongoing charity. For example if I pass knowledge down to some people then they will pass it down to some other people an so on. After i die the knowledge will continue to be passed on so I will still earn good deeds after I die. A type of saadaqah is being a teacher.
I agree with zoha because if you set an example for others they will follow it and you will get the reward but also you need to write some bad examples so that they don't follow that like you did and if your going to write those bad examples you have to say don't follow them and exclaim why.
The legacy I want to leave behind is to always seek help from Allah, and to rely on Him
If I were to pass away and leave a legacy the legacy I would want to leave is to never give up. I as a soccer player would never give up on anything. I would try my hardest and keep at it until the job is done. This does not only happen in sports, but also school. In school you can't just give up on homework or tests, you have to keep trying, keep fighting. I would want to show that if you put your heart into something and try hard enough anything can be accomplished.
If I were to leave a legacy behind I would leave a tafseer on the quran, this would be an act of worship and give me sadaqa jariya after I'm dead. There might even be a chance that I will help someone convert to Islam, inshallah.
Another legacy that I would leave behind is to smile a lot. This is because when other people smile, I will get the good deeds because I caused them to smile. Then when they smile, other people will smile and then I will get the good deeds of all o them
if i were to leave a legacy behind i would want it to be that i had made a orphanage. i feel really bad for kids who dont have parents and i dont know what i would do without mine. also even when i am dead as long as orphans keep coming to my orphanage i would get sadaqa jaariyah
If I were to leave a legacy behind, I would make a school so students would benefit some knowledge. Also, I want to build a school because every student who learns something new, I would get the good deeds for it. This is the legacy I would leave behind.
To leave a legacy is to leave something behind that people will remember you by.
Its not about leaving a legacy, but to leave a good one. Everyone leaves a legacy. But the greater ones reflect on the judgments they made.
I want to leave a ripple effect, so big it can affect anyone in its path. But in a good way. I want to please Allah and be a role model to Allah. I want to be that guy everyone is talking about.
Mashallah Hassaam. This is a good legacy to leave behind because you are leaving an effect on people to be good and have good manners.
That is a good thought when you mentioned that you want people to talk about you in a good way, because Allah will take account of what people think about you, and what type of person you were.
My legacy to leave behind is that don't get obsessed with this life, take advantage of your life before death, sickness before health, and money before poverty.
I would like to leave behind a legacy that everyone will remember. There are many people who did things that they were remebered for, such as Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, Vladimir Lenin, or Ludwig van Beethoven, wether what they did was good or bad. I want to be remembered for something good.
I want to be remembered as a man who was good and righteous.
