I actually had a lot but my main goal was to read my prayer with Khushoo because I personally find it very hard to focus when I am praying because my mind always wanders off and then I think of the most random things. I also didn't know what to think about while I pray so that I don't get distracted and then I read a story on the companions about how if you think about Allah's punishment or reward it helps you. I'm sure someone heard that?
My goal is to also to increase my khusu becuase its really hard for me to focus a lot of times. Also i want to make my iman stronger and become closer to Allah
My goal is to work on praying extra prayers when I have time. Here are some ahadith about the Prophet (SAAWS) that I will give from riyad al-saliheen.
The Prophet (SAAWS) said:(( Allah will give mercy to the one who prays 4 rakaat before salaat al-asr)).
The Prophet (SAAWS) said:(( Whoever prays 12 rakaat besides fard and sunnah prayers and keeps up with it every day, Allah will build a house a house for him in Jannah)).
The Prophet (SAAWS) said:(( Whoever prays 4 rakaat before and after sallat al-dhur DAILY, Allah has forbidden hell fire upon him)).
wow! very interesting hadith, do u know what book or source it's from?
Another goal that I already do daily is read Quran. Quran is the best way to remember Allah (SWT), and it is the good deed that can get you alot of good deeds on the day of judgement. Even if you are busy studying for a quiz or test, don't worry. If you just take a certain amount of time to review Quran, Allah (SWT) will let it take less time for you to study for your test, and insha'llah you will pass. For every letter you read, Allah (SWT) will reward you 10 good deeds or more depending on your intention. Once you start reading Quran, you just want to continue reading. On the day of judgement, if Allah accounts you for bad deeds you have done, the Quran will come as a witness, running to Allah, and it will say "O Allah, this person used to always read me, so forgive him!", and Allah (SWT) will forgive you. Just like the Quran is a witness for you on the day of judgement, your good deeds will also be witnesses for you. So keep on striving to do good deeds.
subhanallah, the significance of Quran is very great. just as a reminder to fellow classmates, we have 10 minutes daily in school to read quran, so we should take advantage of it.
A few of my goals were: to teach others something beneficial that will help them establish a strong connection with Allah SWT because on the Day of Judgement, many people will be so close to entering Jannah, but their sins will outweigh their good deeds. They will be wishing that they had done just a few more good deeds so that they could live eternally in Paradise. I do not want to find myself in that position, so I could use all the Sadaqah Jariyyah i can get. Every time that person does the act I taught them, I will receive good deeds as well.
Another was to establish a balanced sense of Khushu', especially in Salah, but also in the recitation of the Qur'an and other important aspects that should be found in real Muslim behavior. I often get distracted during Salah, or I may not focus when reading the Qur'an.
Some of my goals for the Heart wheel were to smile more to others. To try having more kushu during Salat. Also another one of my goals are to do wudu more patiently so i can make sure the water go's to all of the areas it is supposed to.
Some of my goals for the heart wheel were to:
1-Take a few minutes before each salah to read the Quran, say dhikr, and get in the mode of salah so i can be more concentrated.
2-Pray all the sunnahs for each prayer. as we all know the hadith, if someone prays all the sunnahs in a day, he will get a palace in Jannah.
I actually had a lot of goals!! One of them was to establish good khushuu during Salah. By doing that I would come very early to the masjid, read Quran and focus my mind on Allah Swt
Another goal I had was to increase my Quran reading. Sometimes when i am reading quran i doze off and think about other unessacary things!! From now on, when i read the quran i read it slowly and i focus good on it. I even try to understand the meaning.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
