I think that the best way to cure your heart from diseases is by repenting to Allah SWT. The Prophet SAAWS said that the one who repents is like the one with no sin. Also, the people who cry when they repent will be amongst those who Allah SWT will shade on the day of rising. The Prophet SAAWS said that no person will enter Jannah with even a little bit of arrogance in their heart. Every single major sin is a grave sin, so we need to be conscience of our actions and remind ourselves before it's too late.
What I got from this video that stuck out to me most is that we should read the Quran to soften our heart. I have been trying this, and it is true. When I read more Quran in the day time, I feel much better. Also, when I read Quran before bed, I wake up much more relaxed and refreshed.
It makes me feel refreshed and it brings me joy. It is like a purification.
One thing that i derived from this video is that our heart centers everything in our life. Just like the video stated how if our heart is healthy..... then the whole body is healthy. We can achieve that always staying close to Allah through quran, duaa, and salat. If our heart is bad, then the whole body is bad. This happens when have diseases in our heart like envy, vanity, hatred, etc. We as muslims have to try as hard as possible to stay away from these diseases. We also have to remember how important the heart is as it is the only thing that will enter with us when we die... nothing else. We need to make the most of this oppurtunity
What stuck out to me the most in this video was learning what the different kinds of hearts are influenced to do. Knowing that there are three types of hearts in the world, it is crucial not only to maintain yourself good on the outside, but on the inside as well. The types of hearts are very easy and quick to change from one to another, ( a good easily becoming a sick heart) that we must strive all of our good deeds with good intentions as well.
what stuck out to me the most
was how if the heart is good the whole body is good, and vive versa. this reminded me of a story in which a king asked someone to slaughter a lamb, and give him the best part. the man gave him the tounge. the next day, the king did the same but asked for the worst part. he was yet again given the tounge. the king was curious, and when he asked why, the man told him that if used properly, the tounge can be the best part in the body, and vice versa.
When I was started to watch this video I thought that it was just the same old thing that we learned in Islamic Studies. But, as I kept watching I learned the symptoms of each heart.
Something I found to be very useful and stuck out to me were the different methods of strengthening and softening the heart. I found that I do some of those things already which was releiving Alhamdulilah. Those things also inspired me to keep trying to gain Allah SWT's pleasure. Something that I will try my hardest to apply is reading at least one page of Quran before I go to bed and saying Istaghfaar more often.
Yes Yasmine I totally agree and what stuck out to me was how you can always change the condition of your heart or in other words you always have a second chance. I do not know if I have a dead heart but even thogh it is important that we try to avoid it and take the precautions.
You make great points and overviews here. The video truly helped and showed where people stand. It was relieving to see actions that I already do on there too Alhamdulillah, and I plan to work on my outline for how I can better myself and work on certain aspects.
I though this video really accomplishes signifying that everyone always has something they need to work on to improve the status of their heart. That we need to always replenish ourselves and make sure that we do not shed off traits that make for a healthy heart to make space for traits that identify a sick heart. It helped me in noticing where I am and what I need to work on, and if I lose my way how I can get back on track. Insha Allah I plan to share this with many.
I agree 100% Amani!
This comment taught me even more things from the video! In other words, this interpretation opened me up to more ways of cleansing the heart Alhamdulilah.
One thing that stuck out from this video is that our heart is the center of everything in our life. Just like the video stated how if our heart is healthy then the whole body is healthy. And vice versa. This is kind of like a community when one building or organization collapses, they all do
This video really made me realize that our hearts can be in different states and we have to put hard work in effort to make sure we have a healthy heart. We have to constantly check ourselves to make sure that state of our heart is still good. Their are many ways to maintain a healthy heart such as reading Quran and giving charity. Just by watching this video it made my heart feel pure so I know that by doing these actions it would make my heart feel even better. If our heart is in the limbo stage then we have to realize that all the worldly attractions are just temporary and what really matters is our akhira.
The video about the heart taught about the three types of heart. The healthy, the sick, and the dead. It showed the importance of maintaining a healthy heart and we should strive towards it. Also that the sick heart is an area where we should avoid as the sick heart is for people who are somewhat close to Allah but keep the dunya closer to them. We should all strive towards maintaining or getting a healthy heart.
One of the ways to maintain a healthy heart is to read the Quran. The Quran contains many cures.
Did you know that the hearth "shape" (♥) was developed in the middle ages because of folklore and art. The bright color associated with it can symbolize blood, passion or strong emotion.
The video taught us about the heart, and how to cure or soften it. MashAllah it was very informational.
One thing I picked up was that if your heart is bad, then the whole body is bad, and vice versa. This brings up the idea of watching your surroundings and environment. What ever you take in will affect you. However, you can always repent to Allah, O Allah you are the most merciful. Please make all of our hearts pure, healthy and clean. AMEEN!
the heart does so much for us. and the one who made it was Allah. so one should worship him. looking at this video, it really showed me where my heart was and what stage i was at. it really showed me what to do to make my heart healthy or healthier. when one goes to the grave, none of this world will come with us, no wealth will come, no house, car, job will follow us in our grave. only our heart and good deeds will come. so why do we spend so much time in this life investing here when this is never to help us? this video really really helped me. even of we do have a disease in our heart, Allah never left us hopeless, Allah never leaves us hopeless. instead, He (s.w.t) gave so many cures and we as humans should take advantege of that. This video was a true learning oppurtunity teaching me so much, telling me the diseases and the stages of the heart we should avoid and what stage we should strive for. . so even if we feel hopeless in ourselves, we should always remember that Allah will never loose hope in us.Jazakullah for showing this video Ms.tasnim, it really inspired me.
I think that the best way to keep a sound heart is by constantly remembering allah. One way of doing so is when not talking, to make dhikr, and when talking, make dhikr in you head.
The best way to keep a sound heart his by constantly having allah on your mind. One way of doing this is to always be making dhikr.
Sorry, I thought it didn't work the first time.
What i gained from the video is that, there is more than one way to soften the heart and each one is important. You can soften your heart through Dhikr, Salah, Dua, Istighfar and reading Quran. What we dont do today is all of these things on a constant basis and taking our time.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
