One of my heart weel goals was to have more khusoo in my prayer and to leave any worldly matters out of my head
Reyad this post is not for the heart wheel goals.
Yes Reyad, this sint for the Heart wheel journal.
Wow guys DONT BE MEAN!!!
One thing I learned in Islamics was about the Day of Judgement. This can be related to Social Studies because we learned about our past. So, learning from our past mistakes will help us avoid other mistakes and will help us get to Jannah (through good deeds).
In class we learned one of the signs to the Day of Judgement, which is people competing each other in tall buildings and that the Kaaba will be the lowest point in Makah. I myself went to Makah and witnessed all the tall building surrounding the Kaaba. This made me notice that the Day of Judgement is close and that we have to act up to go to Janah. (InshAllah)
Dubai use to be a poor country I guess and now they are competing to build the tallest buildings in the world.
We did not learn it this year, but one of the signs of the day of judgment is time will pass quickly. This relates to our lives because nowadays with phones, TVs and etc., time seems to fly and an hour now sees like five minutes as long as we have our form of entertainment with us.
Another way this sign relates to my life is that when me and my cousins are having fun or sitting down and talking we check the time before we leave and what feels like 20 minutes was 2 hours.
*felt was*actually 2 hours
In class we learned about the signs of the day of judgment, one is that the Kaaba will be destroyed. This relates to our daily life because people are destroying it everyday little by little by making everything bigger than it. This is destroying the Kaaba because these buildings are taking away the attention from the Kaaba and people are paying more attention to the buildings.
Learning about the signs of the Day of Judgement is crucial for me and our society in general because even though Michigan in very diverse Alhamdulilah, people still try to put an exact date for the Day of Judgement even though Allah knows best. This way, we can all learn more about the proximity of the Day of Judgement and InshAllah have more faith and trust in Allah (SWT) so that we can trust Him so much so that we won't beleive what the society is saying.
A connection that I have is about the heart wheel goals and intention. In the heart wheel goals one made goals to accomplish, but one had to have the intention for doing the goals so that the actions have meaning.
wow good connection! that relates to what ms fahmy had in her old room: Deeds without intention are like a man who carries dirt inside his water jug. It burdens him, and it brings no benefit.
one things that relate to Islamic Studies is that when we learned about the last hour and how it is very close. one of the signs is when a slave girl will give birth to her mistress. this stands out and connects with the people of today and the children of this specific generation. many kids never listen to there mothers or fathers and that they then just ignore them and never get the message of being polite towards your parents
I think that the heart wheel from Islamics deeply related to the hadith from morning halaqa. In the morning halaqa, we studied the hadith: actions are by intentions. this relates to the heart wheel because in order to get good deeds,we had to have the right intention. for instance, if someone did it because he wanted to impress the teacher, he wouldnt get good deeds. however, if he did it or the sake of Allah, he would.
The topic that is very important to me and I love learning about is about the major signs of The Day of Judgement. Learning about them just make them all the more realistic to me and that The Day of Judgement is more near then we think. And it also showed me how a lot of people think that The Day of Judgment is far away and that none of us will be here for it. Many people think that they will die before that and that for now they can do whatever they want and that when they grow older inshallah they will just make up for it, no! That is not true we do not know when we will die or how long we will live. And not only has Islamics pointed that out to me so has Quranic Qrabic. We have been working on a project about how everything praises and thanks Allah (swt), and how Surah Al-Fatiha talks about us asking Allah (swt) if he can protect us inshallah and keep us on the straight path. And also about how asking Him that inshallah we are not on the path of those who have earned his wrath. It all comes back to the same thing, Allah (swt) and Him alone knows how long we have on this earth and when The Day of Resurrection will come. He knows where we will end up and that shows how He is our one and only lord and we should always do everything for the sake of Allah (swt), and ask to inshallah go to Jannah in the Akira inshallah.
In Islamics we learned about different names of Allah SWT under the Signs of the Day of Judgement powerpoint, and in Q.A. i'm doing a project about why Allah uses the word "Allah" more often than his other names in the Qur'an. He does this because we shold recognize Allah for possessing many unique qualities instead of JUST saying that He is The Creator or The Provider. Instead we are saying that He is both of those and 96 others. HL
i mean should :)
in islamics we learned about the signs of the day of judgment and what will happen on the day of judgment in Q.A I am working on a project and I had to find a hadith for the environment and how u should show mercy and one of the things going on during the day of judgment is the mountains and the earth will crumble and I thought why do we have to protect the environment if this is going to happen the hadith said that if you show mercy to all things allah will show mercy to you
Nice one Ali!!
One thing I learned in Islamics class we studied about the signs of the Day of Judgment. In Q.A class, my group is doing a project on Allah's 99 names. One of them is Al Akhar. That means that he is the last. When the world becomes obliterated, only one thing we be left, Allah SWT. That is what gives him the name Al Akhar.
That is so true I think that Allah being our creator relates to our schoolwide themes Systems and intangible. After all Allah is intangible and he is soo magnificent that he created the whole world with its perfect systems with just on word.BE! This makes me wonder about how powerful he can be which means he can be just as angry and just as merciful. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
I would like to relate the Last hour with what Mr. Tamam talked about after salah. Just eating Halal is a act of worship. Just by not committing sin we are getting good deeds. Allah swt is always watching us even if are parents aren't. Dont try to get away with eating haram stuff.
One thing we learned about in islamics is the Day of Judgment and the signs. For example, one of the signs are that the slave girl will give birth to her mistress. In this generation, many children are not treating there parents like they should. They do not respect there parents and kids act like they control everything when the parents are supposed to. In society these days, its been a struggle for some parents to keep control of their child because parents are losing their kids respect. Kids are not polite to their parents and they act like they are in charge of what goes around in the house. This shows that the last hour is near and we should prepare for that by praying and keeping close to Allah.
One of the things we have learned are the signs of the day of judgement. Even though none of the major signs are here yet, many of the minor signs are. For example like what israa said that many children disrepect their parents and thats one of the signs of the day of judgement. Also another sign is that people will try to make buildings bigger than the kabah which is what people are doing. For example the eiffel tower. So basically the day of judgement is closer than we think
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
