Subhanallah, dates have many amazing attributes that are beneficial to us, and one of those many is that it prevents abdominal cancer. A survey was taken on the topic and statistics have demonstrated the fact. I think it's just mind blowing that something as small as the date can have so many benefits to it and can help in so many ways. I think it is very nice that we all appreciate dates for they wee a favorite of the prophet and he (S.A.W) used to eat them whenever he would be given some. He also used to advise his companions to eat them for the benefits and because in those times most of the companions would not ne able to have a good amount of food let alone any; so as a result dates were a solution because like Adnan mentioned they help keep you feel longer.
Including dates in your regular diet, i guess you could say, may increase your health and help decrease the chances of developing many chronic diseases. I don't really have the opportunity to buy dates but when my family does, we usually buy ALOT. Which is good cause i really love them.
