There are lots of things that spiritually inspire me.
One thing (or rather lots of things) that inspires me are the prophets' stories.
1) I love learning about their life because, like any other story or book, they have a beginning, plot, end, characters, setting, and more. They are stories of bravery and courage and patience and sacrifice. How could someone NOT like that?
2) Lots of lessons, and I mean LOTS. From Prophet Nuh (A)'s story alone, I learned probably 50+ lessons that are applicable to our daily life.

One thing that spiritually inspires me is the meaning of the Quran in depth. Even though I don't like memorizing the Quran or anything else when you understand what you are reading, you get a whole new perspective about the book. Let's say for example you're reading Surat-l Zalzalah. You learn and read about the meaning in depth. You then understand that it's talking about the Day of Judgement. You get a little scared, renew your faith, and care more about your prayers and your Deen.

One thing that spiritually inspires me is: whatever goes around comes around. This is saying that if I do bad, then the bad will come back to me. If I do good then the good willl come baack to me. This makes me want to do the right. If i dont get the instant gratification of my actions then i will see it in DOJ.

Something that inspires me, or makes me motivated it is the akhira. We get devoted to this life, and don't realize what we do, until we lose it. I want to be those who enter Jannah quickly. Also, the Prophet did so much for us, and never gave up. So I try to not give up, and do what's best for others =)

one thing that inspires me is dua.dua is very powerful and meaningful. when people are in need or trouble they turn to others, when they should be turning to Allah SWT. Allah said that after difficulty comes ease. so turn to Allah the only one who can really help you.

I agree with you, Ali. Dua is important and unlike anyone or anything, Allah SWT actually wants us to keep asking Him for things. He wants us to pester Him and ask Him for what we want. We shouldn't ever turn to priests or music to calm us down, we should turn to Allah.

One thing that spiritually inspires me the most (There are a lot of things that inspire me) is people that convert to Islam. What I mean is that when someone changes their life and they lose everything just for Islam it's just inspiring watching just regular people losing everything just for Islam. It's just AMAZING! For instance, Robert Davilia he was just a paralyzed man and he couldn't move and on top of that he was living in Church town! Then Allah guides him and if we can't just pray just think about this amazing man that can't move and he does everything what a regular Muslim does. If he can do it we can too!

one thing that spiritually inspires me is the quran. there are many other things/people that inspire me spiritually, but the quran is very important and probably inspires me the most.
the reason is that the quran is a book of guidance. if you are ever in need, or in doubt, if you are ever sad, or scared etc. the quran is always there for you. you can just open it to a surah that relates, and it ALWAYS has an answer for you!
this is my spiritual inspiration because it causes me in times of hardship, to turn to Allah (SWT) and his book, instead of materialistic things. if we can read the quran and understand it, then iA we will be close to Allah, and iA go to jennah.

You're totally right about the Quran. It is a guidance for the worlds. And if you compare the Quran to other books, you can see the Quran has much more meaning by FAR. For example, in science textbooks, they have a disclaimer right in the beginning that says the information inside is subject to change. In the Quran, right on page 2 it says that there is no doubt in this book. AMAZING!
So that's something that inspires me too by the way :)

Same here! Great connection Salma. The Quran is literally the handbook to life. It has everything we need to know about our Deen clearly written in the most beautiful of ways. It includes stories, fiqh, tips, etc....
The point is, this inspires me because the Quran has a special place in my life, and I find the things in it very inspiring. I learn from the stories that are mentioned in its pagers, and ponder on the rules it places upon us. These are the direct words of Allah (SWT)!!! How can we not derive something from it. I try not to take it for granted or treat it like an assignment to memorize or that the Quran is any old book. We should earn from what's in it and let it be the inspiring light in our tunnels.

One thing that spiritually inspire me is the quran, it has deep meanings and now I have started to notice the meaning behind Allah's words and that anywhere Allah puts an ayah in place it must have a pupose. When I learn about the tafseer of the surahs I pay attention to why Alllah might have placed the surah there.

One thing that inspires me is the Quran. The Quran explains most of what you need to know about Islam except how to do things, which is explained in the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). If you think of it, it's like a story. THere are stories of the prophets that lived before us, and what happened to some of their people in punishment in disbelieving in Allah (SWT). This also teaches us to fear Allah always from doing bad things. Also, the Quran also teaches us lessons about the stories of the prophets. For example, in Surat-Yusuf, the main lesson which is said in the last ayah of the surah is tawheed. Here's one example. Also, some people when they memorize the Quran, they pust put it away and forget about it. Some people memorize the Quran and review it continuously but don't do what the Quran tells us to do. We need to be people who memorize the Quran insallah and do what it says to do. May we be one of these people. Ameen.

Your right. In my opinion, its worthless, well not completely worthless, to read the Quran but not apply it. What's the point of a guide book without using it. And what better way to learn and apply the lesson than memorizing it?
The Prophet Ibrahim inspires me, cause he was ready to sacrifice his own little boy for da sake of Gawd.

One thing that inspires me are all the signs in the Qur'an. It just makes me believe more when I see all the scientific and mathematical things in the Quran that were written almost 1500 years ago. These facts that are in the Qur'an are recently being discovered by mathematicians and scientists in recent years. Here are some:
The Expansion of the Universe
The description of the embryo
The Orbit
The Roundness of Earth
Layers of atmosphere
Movement of mountains

If you search up scientific facts in the Quran debunked, you'll see the stupidest, most absurd things written. We should keep away from this madness and be strong in faith. Don't let satan get to you

The one thing that spiritually inspires me the most is not a thing. It is an act. The act of Dau'a.
When you see a person, far away from the teachings of Islam, in a completely different religion suddenly turn to Islam and become higher in rank (good deeds) than many of your own Muslim brothers and sisters don't you think that's inspiring?
Seeing those kind of things can sometimes even grow guilt inside of me and make me want to do more.

Asalamu Alaikum,
One spiritual thing that inspires me is the fact that Allah (SWT) is the most merciful, forgiving, and is the one who gives us tests in life.. (sry that was probably more than one thing). I admit, I have done things so bad I wouldn't dream of telling anyone... but Allah (SWT) is forgiving and conceals our mistakes, and is so merciful that we can erase those Saiiat by doing tawba. So when I hit rock bottom in my faith and heart, I remember Allah (SWT)'s mercy and repent and I try to bring myself on track again. Subhan Allah. I still have this feeling in my heart of emptiness... a debt I still have to pay to Allah (SWT) that I can NEVER give back, but we strive for. This is actually what keeps my heart beating and keeps me going everyday. If Allah (SWT) wasn't as merciful as He is, I would probably be punished to death in this life and in the Akhira for what I have done. But we should remember:
1. Allah (SWT) is the most merciful
2. Allah (SWT) is the all forgiving and will conceal your mistakes
3. Allah (SWT) does not react and have the feelings we do.. He is the one and only God, He is the one who put us on this earth, and created the earth we are on right now, and everything else. He doe not lash out and torture people (Astaghfir Allah). He (SWT) is so understanding and knows that humans forget.... he forgives our mistakes and gives us the option of tawba.

ASAK,
One thing that that inspires me is the study of Allahs names. Each of them hold such an amazing grace and beauty to them. I especially like the names Ar-Rahman, And Al-Mujeeb. Allah is extremely merciful as well as the one that answers all of our duas! I myself have experienced both the names. When i have felt Allahs rahma, and He has answered so many of my duas! How can you not be inspired by this?? Sometimes our iman really gets put to major test, and i admit sometimes I've been scared at my own badness. And it really keeps me going thinking about how Allah is merciful, forgiving, etc etc. This is something we can never ever repay Him for, but we do our best to do what He sent us here for. If you ever have experienced that feeling where you feel overwhelmed by Allahs rahma and forgiveness, and power, then you KNOW for ever that Allah is for real. So studying his names, at least for me, helps me become closer with Him.

One thing that inspires me is Allah (swb) forgiveness and mercy. If Allah wasn't very merciful or forgiving i doubt as many Muslims would do there obligations. When Muslims make mistake they have the chance to try again because if there truly repentfull (I'm not sure that's a word) Allah will forgive them,

Something that spiritually inspires me is the akirah, and what we do here in the world decides what happens to us in the hereafter. Sometimes if I'm too lazy to do something or if its something extra I think of how it will affect me in the akirah. Other times my sibling asks me for help or my parents ask me to do something, I would usually think "Ugh, why me!?" but then I think of how it will benefit me in the akirah. Thinking of the akirah really motivates you to do something you probably by choice wouldn't. So get your butt off the couch and help others! It comes in handy later on, maybe even in this life.

Something that spiritually inspires me is how merciful and forgiving Allah (SWT) is. He gives us so many chances to change ourselves, and no matter what He will forgive us. For example, when Shaytan had told Allah (SWT) that he would try to lead us astray, Shaytan had asked Allah to live until the end of mankind. And even through everything negative Shaytan said, Allah had granted his wish. Even if we think that we committed too big of a sin or we consistently made the same mistake and we're too ashamed to ask Allah for forgiveness, because of His mercy, He will forgive us. Shaytan is just trying to play with our mind but seriously...if Allah can grant Shaytan's wish, Allah can answer our dua too, Inshallah!

Something that inspires me is the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammed (SAW). He had a balanced life; he prayed to Allah but yet he would do things as a normal human would do. Even though the Prophet had a closer relationship with Allah he didn't show off about it, instead he helped others to the truth and guidance of Islam. I always try to remember that the prophets are the best of man-kind and that we should look up to them and make them our role models so that Insha'allah one day we can all get the pleasure and mercy of Allah.

One thing that spiritually inspires me, is that Allah SWT answers your duas no matter what. I think thats really cool because if you did something wrong, and you realize it later and make dua to Allah for Him to forgive you, He will answer it. It might be right away He answers it or even in the other world or through a sign. And even when we want Him to exept it in this world, we dont know what its like in the other world. In the other world when He accepts it, it will actually be a lot better and we woulldve wanted all our duas to be accepted in the other world.
ASA,
One thing that inspires me is other people's work. If they do something that really impresses me i feel compelled to do what they are doing. For example, if someone is kind to everyone, i notice how they react with people and not only do i like them but also i set a goal for myself to do what they do.
