A name of Allah I would like to study is al-khabir-the-all-aware. Gaining more knowledge of this name helps me by knowing that Allah is aware of every action we do and what we think in our head.Even if no one is watching you steal or do a sin,one must know that Allah is watching you and everyone else at the same time.

The name I would like to study is Al-Quddus meaning the Pure One. It will help us gain knowledge in purity which could lead to better strength in religion in this case Islam, which purity is even half of faith!................Enjoy.
Just adding on to what you are saying. When one converts to Islam, Allah purifies them as if they were just born. When they cry, their sins are falling off. Allah is also the Purest because He just is. No errors, faults, mistakes, bad deeds, or any dirtiness. This is why Allah is the Most Pure

Ad-Darr, The Creator of The Harmful. This name will help me gain more knowledge because, I am aware of all the good and ease Allah SWT blessed us with, but I am curious to know what deep danger there is on this Dunyaa'. I know that people can get sick, and that there are dangerous animals but I am sure that there is something greater than both of those combined.

I want to learn that name, too, Alena!
But I want to learn about it for a different reason.
It makes me want to find out why Allah created harmful things. I know that Allah (SWT) created them so He could test us, but still.
Is there a deeper meaning to the name?
I really want to find out.

hey sarah. i wanted to TRY to answer your question. i think allah created harmful things to test us as you said. but also, he wants to see if you would keep your faith.if everything was good, how would you learn good from bad. how will you fix your mistakes? i dont know i just thought i'd give a shot answering your question.

To be honest, I want to learn a LOT of names, because when I read them, I wonder why Allah gave Himself this name, and then I want to learn more about it.
One of the names I want to learn about is Al-Ghani, the Rich One.
I think it seems interesting and logical.
I think it relates to me (and probably everyone else, too) because at one point of my life I thought about how awesome it would be to be the richest. Now I can see that Allah has already beat me to it. : )
But it also makes me reflect because so easily we all get caught up in this world. We lose ourselves in the Dunya as we compete for worldly things.
The word "dunya" itself is such a low word. It means "the lowest thing" or "nearest thing". When I found out what it meant, I was disgusted at myself. How could I be worried about this life when the next life was eternal? When what the heaven provided was so much MORE then what the dunya could. Money, fame, etc. Who needs that? Why risk Jannah for such small things that when we went to the grave, it was of no use. When we will soon be lying in the dirt, nobody will appreciate us for those things. It won't take us closer to Jannah. In fact, it might even take us FARTHER from Jannah.
Thinking about it really got my intentions straight.

i agree Sarah, this name really showcases the true essence of what we (sadly) are all wild about and love so much: THE DUNYA. Instead of swallowing ourselves with wealth and possessions, our main focus should be praising Allah (SWT) AND recognizing that He is the Richest One. Your post and explanation really made me think,
Masha Allah.

I would like to learn about one of Allah's names, which is Al Wadud, the loving one. I would like to go in depth in this name because I know Allah loves us a lot, but I don't know the specifics.____________Enjoy! :)
When we go to Allah walking, He comes running, which shows how loving Allah is. Allah never wants bad for us, and He gives us an equal chance to become Muslim and believe in His Oneness. When Allah puts us through a hardship, he is testing you, not being your enemy. Allah is whatever you think He is

I would like to study the name al muhayim, the protector. I think we need to learn and understand how Allah swt is really the only one who can protect us. No one will be able to protect us on the day of judgment except Him. I want to learn how to become one who Allah will protect,
Your right Sara, this name is a really good name to study because it has so much meaning to it, it also kind of refers back to Allah's mercy and forgiveness because even though we may have sinned Allah still loves us and protects us, this also relates to al-Ghafor because Allah still conceals us even if we sinned and that's what is really cool and amazing that Allah is always there for us no matter what

The name I thought that would be nice to learn about is Al-Muid, The Restorer. I would like to learn about this name because it is amazing how after someone dies and child is born. Or after a forest is burnt down immediately new plants or trees come and replace the old. It is awing to know that Allah (SWT) restores everything, He re-creates it. I am interested in how He does this, He just restores or renews something and how jaw-dropping it is.

Another name I would like to learn about is Al-Basit. It means "the Reliever".
I think that we can all agree that Allah is definitely the Reliever. (I'm actually having cramps right at this moment, and they are slowly going away!)
But the name isn't only about illnesses and medical conditions and whatnot. It's also about trials and hardships.
Notice that whenever Allah (SWT) gives a trial to someone, they have ease afterwards. After hardship there is ALWAYS ease. We should never forget that.
So let's not get our hopes down if we ever have a trial to go through. Allah (SWT) will give us ease eventually. (My cramp is actually gone!)

The name I would like to study is: AL- AFU, the forgiver. This would benefit me because if we study more about how merciful and forgiving Allah is. The name of Allah that I would like to study is Al- Basir, the all seeing. Learning this, will show us that Allah SWT can see anything. Whether you are doing it publicly, or even if it just in your heart, Allah SWT can still see what you are doing. This encourages people to realize that Allah can see ANYTHING that you are doing,so you shouldn't do things that you might regret on the Day of Judgment.

The name I would like to study is Ar- Rashid, the teacher. All of the knowledge in all of the universe, all of our thoughts all come from Allah. He created every different type of personality in the world, and teaches the humankind new things everyday. He teaches every animal the perfect way to act, live, and think. He trained all of his creations to work perfectly together for an amazing system and still reveals in In Surat Saba’a (Sheba) verses #2 and #3 ALLAH (SWT) Says ”He Knows what moves through the earth and what comes out thereof, and what comes down from the heaven and what moves through it and He Is The Most Merciful, Most Forgiving. And the unbelievers said “never to us will come the hour (judgment day)” say “nay! it will come to you (for sure)” He Knows the unseen, from Whom is not hidden the weight of an atom (a very tiny particle) in the heavens nor in the earth, even smaller than that or larger, but is in a comprehensive book (record)”. He still hasnt taught us all of his knowledge, but gives it to use step by step, with the perfect amount of knowledge for our era

A name I would like to study or learn more about is the name Al-Karim which means The Generous. The reason I would like to learn more about this name is that Allah (SWT) blessed everyone with something He doesn't just put a person on earth and not give them some kind of blessing. The name I would like to learn about is Al-Jabbar because Al-Jabbar means overpowering lord. Leaders are killing their own people and they think that they have power over everyone. One name of Allah I would like to study is AL-BASÎR The All-Seeing, I want to study this name because it tells us that Allah is the all seeing which means that Allah can see everything we are doing, every step we take, every single one of our moves are seen by Allah. So when you're in the closet eating that cookie know that Allah is watching, just because your mom can't see what you are doing doesn't mean you're going to get away with it. Allah on the day of judgment will ask you about it and you will regret it. So I think we should study this name because it's a big part our religion.

The name of Allah (SWT) that I would like to study would be al-Quddus which means the Pure One. This can be interpreted by connecting this to the fact that... we are all human. We make mistakes. But Allah (SWT) or Al-Quddus is taheer and pure over us all.
