My book is about space and it's features. This book can relate to perspective because, non-Muslim's think the universe was created with a big bang. Us Muslims know that Allah (SWT) created everything. Also, when people first look at constellations such as Leo, you have to look at it with a different perspective and imagine the lion out of the stars.
Great reply Sanaa! And it is true non-muslims don't believe that everything was created by Allah (SWT). They have different theories of what might have created Earth and everything else!
I agree! I get really frustrated when people try to come up with a logical explenation when the answer is what their mocking and making fun of.
I agree with your comment Sanaa, because many non-Muslims, like Atheists believe there is no such thing as God, yet space is one of the miracles that proves that Allah (SWT) created everything.
I brought I Aesop's Fables. At the end of each story there is a moral lesson from it. This relates to perspectives. Some people may have different perspectives of understanding the lesson or what it means. Other people might have different perspectives on how to apply that lesson in their daily lives.
My book is about building a house. I can relate this book to the concept word perspectives because the book teaches you how to paint and what colors to cjoose for certain houses. It also says that it is better to paint depending on your perspective of how the light would come in the house. Also, the perspective of what colors would match your furniture. This is not only for painting, but it is also for carpet and wood floors. So my book relates to perspectives
because it talks about how youn should have a perspetive on what you will paint and how.
I agree with you Nazeer because it's your perspective on how you want to paint your house
My book is about the prophet Muhammad and his history.
One fact from my book is that they used to pray facing Jerusalem when the prophet received a revelation of the Quran that said " I have often seen you look at the sky. I have seen you search the heavens. Now I will give you a qibla that will make you happy. Turn your face towards the. Sacred mosque. And pray facing the kabah.
My book was about what you need to know about law. My ambition is to be a lawyer and so I find law very interesting.
Law relates to perspective and how their are many different perspective in the court and the judge gets to make the final desision based on all the different perspectives.
That is a really good connection!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
The book that I brought for Islamics was called "101 Things to do Before You Grow Up." One cool piece of information it tells you is how to make a go-cart that actually drives. It relates to the concept word of Wisdom, because this book is not only teaching you about cool projects and crafts to do, but also tells you how to apply those and gives useful information about each topic. That is how this book relates to this unit.
I agree, because it can teach you how to do valuable things, that can affect your perspective on how to look at something.
The book that I brought in was called "1001 INVENTIONS &AWESOME FACTS FROM MUSLIM CIVILIZATION". This book has so many facts, but my favorite thing about the book is the architecture section. I found out that an architect named Mimar Sinan whose original ambition was to become a carpenter, built the Selimiye Mosqe in Edirne, Turkey so well that was with-stood EARTHQUAKES since the 1570s!!! This relates to our unit concept word perspective because each architect builds a building from their own perspectives and when trying to describe it to others it is almost impossible to describe because it is how the architect imagines it. This fascinated me because it is actually my ambition to become an architect Inshallah one day.
My book is called 100 most FEARST CREATURES. It shows different kinds of animals and then it rates the animal 1-5 on how scary the animal is. I think my book relates to perspectives
I also think Radwan's book relates to perspectives because the authors give their perspectives on how dangerous the most fierce creatures are on a scale of 1 to 5.
My book is Guiness World Records 2014 and Datta Phuge made a shirt that cost $120,219 in gold. Some might think it's a dumb idea but it all depends on perspective. This man might think that it is good to have the shirt some may think otherwise
The book I chose to bring in to class is called “I’m a big brother” by Randall. The reason I chose to bring this book in is because the main character Luke reminds me of myself and the difficulty of being a big brother. From Luke’s perspective (and mine) the new baby was taking all the attention and love from the parents. He felt less important because his parents spent more time with the baby instead of him. As time went by Luke stated to realize that his parents loved him even more and now that he has someone to play with.
