I thought it was amazing how Musab-ibn-Umair sacrificed so much for the religion of Islam. He had EVERYTHING that any youth in Makkah could wish for. Yet his love for Allah (SWT) and his Messenger triumphed all of his worldly possessions. His transformation clearly displays his love for Islam.

I personally think that Mus'ab Bin Umair was such a pious man that I dont even think he liked his clothes that his mother bought him every day. I think it is so cool that he knew that the things that he was doing was wrong and he had the courage to go and stand up to his mom. I also love how he just let all his possessions go even though he could've bought what ever he wished. His overall accomplishment in the first page of this story is something to follow and learn from. Can't wait to finish the story!
Muslims are trying so hard to fit in with society. In the modern day world, Muslim’s, try to fit in with non Muslims to become accepted by others. The Muslims today don’t realize that we won’t ever be normal or blend in with society. We were meant to be different from them and that is okay because as long as you believe in Allah and make the right choices you won’t need to feel that feeling of I “I need everybody to think I’m normal”. Unfortunately that is not how Muslims in today’s world think. We think we need to modernize ourselves and not to be “un cool”. But this is all wrong because life is short and the thing that will affect you the most is how you have spent your time in this world to enter Jannah or Jahnnam. The story of Mus’ab Bin Umair is a story that truly defines of what it means to become and be a Muslim. The story is basically about a spoiled boy who had every reason to boast and brag about himself. When he heard about the prophet he started opening his eyes and seeing that this was the true path. Just because of seeing the true path he let of the spoiled boy he used to be and all his fame and glory, just to become a strong believer. A person may have thought that that probably was an easy journey to take but it was one of the hardest because of the many hardships he faced. But in the end it was all worth it because he finally believed and stood o the right path. One of the biggest trials he faced was his mom not accepting the fact that he was becoming a Muslim. Mus’ab knew that following the religion of Islam was the right thing to do so he did not give up and back away from it. Instead he stood up for what he believed for, and did what he knew what was best. Because of how much he loved Allah, he didn't give up on following Islam. The people today must realize the fact that they are blessed to not have gone to through the many hardships like Mus’ab.

Mus‘ab enjoyed the best of food, finest dresses and the best perfumes because of his wealthy parents. Whenever Mus‘ab passed through the streets, dressed in precious clothes and profusely perfumed, the sweet smell scented the atmosphere all around and the people gazed at him with amazement and appreciation. His beauty and charm was the talk of the town. He had everything that one could ever wish for. Still he sacrificed everything once he accepted the religion Islam and started to learn more about it.After he learned about Islam he started to wear plain clothes. Mus'ab's sacrifice showed his love towards the religion Islam.
I love Musab ibn Umair. He is one of the Sahabi that we should look up to. I look up to him for many reasons. One reason is that he was a martyr. He died fighting for the sake of Allah. It is said but also beautiful how he lacked clothing to the point where the muslims couldn't cover his dead body. He sacrificed everything for Allah even his life. He was somebody who flipped his entire lifestyle for the sake of Allah. His mother was the one who spoiled him and even after all she tormented him he still asked her to join Islam. This was another thing I look up to him for. Respect for parents.

I think this really represents how muslims in Islam are getting so carried away by the worldly attractions to them which causes them to stray away from Allah. Their eagerness and wanting to try and fit in with society has caused them to turn away from Islam. For example, clothing and appearance has become a great impact on society and causes it to be the main focus and impression when you see someone. However, in the Day of Judgement Allah won't judge you by your appearance, he will judge you by your Iman and look inside your heart. It's really amazing how after all of the luxury Musa' ab Bin Umair had he followed Islam.
Mus'ab Bin Umair was an amazing person. He left everything behind just for Allah (SWT). People today want to modernize themselves by the latest fashions and technologies and more. Mus'ab Bin Umair already had these types of luxuries. He left all these things because of his true passion for Islam and because of his love for Allah (SWT). I am sure it was hard for him to say no to his mother who would give him whatever he wished. Even when he was punished by his mother he kept his heart with Islam. May Allah (SWT) reward Mus'ab Bin Umair for all the sacrifices he did for Allah (SWT)! Ameen.

Mus'ab Bin Umair was truly a great person, dedicated to everything he does and believes. He believed in Islam and sacrificed so much for all the Muslims. Nowadays people always want to know whats in and have the latest clothes, fashion, technology and many more. People are always thinking about whats next and want to fit in with the crowd. It is always about what is new and what is considered cool and the highest fashion and most expensive. People dont look at whats really important in life. They can go crazy for the latest things and want to get attention because they have the most expensive and coolest things. To some, that is all that matters which isn't a good thing. Because many other things matter as well such as your family and religion. Mus'ab Bin Umair sacrificed all of this because of his true love for Islam. He believed in Allah and didn't care about what everyone else was thinking or doing. He cared about Islam and still continued to believe in Allah no matter what others told him. For example, his mother punished him because he followed Islam and believed it was the true religion. Its amazing that after all the wonderful and luxuries he was given he still followed Islam. That is very hard for most people because they always want to have the newest and most coolest things nowadays. Mus'ab Bin Umair was a true believer and may Allah (SWT) grant him paradise!
